MIXTAPE: Transition Highlights

This was a class project during the pandemic. Since I couldn't go out to shoot, I opted to just use Animal Crossing: New Horizons to film my script.All of the assets for transitions and stop motion were made by me, except for the alphabet. The stationeries are scans of ones that I own, as well as the music sheets and keyboard.

Lincoln: Talking Heads

Done for comic class. Our prompt was about meeting an assassin in a diner while focusing on dialogue between our original characters that should fit in five pages.This was the first comic I made after having a lesson in class. I didn't really draw comics before, and am surprised about how fun they are to make!

Oh, My Chocolate!: Environments

Also done for comic class. Our prompt was to incorporate convenience stores in a romance story with our original characters.Inspired by SEVENTEEN's Chocolate, I included lyrics that would push the story forward!

Kaleidoscope Dreams: Anything-Goes

For finals in comic class we can make a comic about anything, so I decided to dedicate it to all of my friends who make life worthwhile!I referenced my own Animal Crossing island via an in-game screenshot, some photographs from SEVENTEEN photoshoots, and screenshots from a 3D room that I made using Floorplanner.This was also the first time I seriously wrote a long poem, and I'm happy with the result! I referenced a lot of music that I frequently listen to.

A Casphardt Zine

I was invited to be the cover artist for Seven Seas, a charity zine centered on Caspar and Lindhart.Since they end up travelling together, I focused on the beginning of their journey as the front cover, then going back home for the back cover.

Ibon made the front card with the character, while I made the back card.We opened commissions for the KAYA NATIN! Movement to help frontline workers in the Philippines.

I wanted to explore Caspar's duality and monstrosity, since he always talks about fighting for the sake of good. My inspiration for this piece is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.I also made several designs for how younger and post-timeskip Caspar would look like.

Midnight Clouds

Based on canonical lore, I imagined an alternate universe where Caspar and Lindhart are being observed and hunted by a mysterious cult.It was my first time making gothic horror artwork, so I practiced and made these illustrations.
